The N502 board supports the transmission of OTN.

The N502 board can work in either line mode or relay mode.

  • 160 x ODU0/ 80 x ODU1/ 20 x ODU2/ 20 x ODU2e/ 4 x ODU3/ 2 x ODU4/ 160 x ODUflex <-> 2 x ODU4 <-> 1 x ODUC2 <-> 1 x OTUC2.

Supports the following service conversions:

  • Electrically regenerates OTU4 signals at an electrical REG station.

  • Supported service rate: OTU4, at a rate of 111.81 Gbit/s

  • Electrically regenerates OTUC2 signals at an electrical REG station.

  • Supported service rate: OTUC2, at a rate of 224.61 Gbit/s

  • Electrically regenerates one OTUC4 signal at an electrical REG station.

  • Supported service rate: OTUC4, at a rate of 449.22 Gbit/s
